I have also enjoyed a long association with Matthew and his family as prior to joining the Ecochill team, they provided my previous employer with consultancy, case supply and service to the group. I’m passionate about the Arneg brand and work with a wonderful team of delightful Arneg personnel based in Italy. ”

I have had an extremely varied career ranging from secretarial through to shop fitting. As the North Island Retail Refrigeration Fitout Manager I have been involved in a number of projects including New World Browns Bay, PaknSave Ormiston and New World Te Kuiti to name a few. Prior to returning to EcoChill, I was employed by a shop fitting company where my client list was long and varied but included the likes of L’Oreal, CS Company, Skinny Mobile and Michael Hill Jewellers. Design and Installation

Some say he once made a refrigeration system out of 3 toothpicks, a bag of frozen peas and some No. 8 fencing wire – we say he is one of the most respected Refrigeration Design Engineers in New Zealand. Dan has designed some of New Zealand’s leading refrigeration solutions, specialising in pioneering naturals technology. Starting ‘on the tools’ as a service engineer Dan’s drive to design saw him put himself through University earning an Honours in his Bachelor of Engineering before starting a distinguished career as a Design Engineer. When he’s not at work, Dan works on developing new sources of energy out of recycled refrigerant gases and is writing a book on the role of refrigeration in craft brews called ‘Why Lions Ice Beer is not Ice, or Beer…’

I have been involved in the Refrigeration Industry for the last 13 years and finished my ‘Diploma in Mechanical Engineering’ as a ‘Technical Sales Engineer’ in one of the leading Refrigeration wholesale company where I spent most time designing & selecting different types of Refrigeration systems to meet customers’ requirements. I have been working as the ‘Project Design Engineer & Manager’ at Ecochill for the last 8 years, having successfully designed and run multiple projects in various different designs with tight deadlines. I am proud to be working with a company who are leaders in ‘Natural Refrigerants’ and always look for opportunities to develop more energy-efficient systems.

With 16 years in a trade, I started out as an electrician and eventually decided to get my refrigeration trade. I worked on the tools, then once I started my family, moved more into the design/management side. I thrive on learning new skills and passing my knowledge onto others. I pride myself on completing a job to the best of my ability and enjoy working in a team and independently.
